The River City Racing Program began in 2016 when Let’s Grow STEAMx mounted the first Soap Box Derby race in the Columbus area in over 20 years.
The goal of the River City Race Program is to help youth develop skills they will need to be successful in the future. Our platform provides competitive racing and high-quality STEAM engagement, which encourages the development of well-rounded 21st-century skills, such as critical thinking, communication, and teamwork.
