Albany State University presents Navigating STEM as a Non-STEM Teacher

Educators if you present non-STEM subject matter, this lesson is for you. Albany State University suggests ideas and concepts to build within your curriculum to integrate STEM. In this seminar, two activities are used to demonstrate incorporating STEM into non-STEM subjects.

Kenton Meronard

Kenton Meronard is a Research Technician and Grant Project Manager at Albany State University. In his role as the project manager of the NASA Minority University Research and Education Project Aerospace Academy at ASU, he creates and implements innovative STEM education opportunities for teachers and underserved/ underrepresented youth within the Southwest Georgia counties. His office has initiated the NASA STEM Ambassadors Program which provides resources for teachers to bring STEM to their classroom. He also supports the Georgia First Lego League Robotics Competitions for the district. Kenton Meronard is a biochemist and geneticist by training and conducts electrochemical research to support the development of a Prostate Cancer detection array.
