Tyler Kinner works as a research scientist at Georgia Tech. His primary focus is to work with researchers across STEM+CS disciplines to support the creation of the generation of scientists and engineers through educational outreach, curriculum development, and the design and evaluation of new programs and tools in teacher and student support. As a primary responsibility, Kinner manages the Direct to Discovery program, a state-funded initiative to connect STEM researchers and professionals with K12 classrooms across the state.
Kinner also supports the development of professional development programs, evaluates program effectiveness, and works to create new partnerships and explore funding opportunities.
