Coca Cola Space Science Center: Planetary Tales

Wanja Ngugi is Assistant Director at Columbus State University’s Coca-Cola Space Science Center. She is a higher education professional interested in helping young people as they explore their interests and reach for their goals. In her role, she works to ensure enjoyable experiences for guests and promote the Center in the community and region. Ms. Ngugi has a Bachelor of Art Degree in International Studies and Women’s Studies from Denison University (Ohio) and a Master of Public Administration from Columbus State University. Michael Johnson Coordinator of Student Engagement & Community Programs at Columbus State University’s Coca-Cola Space Science Center. In his 12 years at CCSSC, he has overseen the Boy Scouts programming, brought NASA Community Day to Columbus, GA. The latter garnered him two awards, including CSU’s Presidential Award and the NASA Group Achievement Award. Mr. Johnson enjoys observing the night sky and helping students K-12 and beyond gain knowledge and excitement in their exploration journeys. Mr. Johnson has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Columbus State University.
